As requested by many, finally available now in google play store (FREE)

"GoPtty Pattaya Venues": map / navigation app (off line usage) for Pattaya area

This app might be useful for you when you want one or more of the following feature

* have a list available of nearby venues (with distance indication) of your likings.
- GoGo bars, (relaxing) darkside places, gentlemen clubs (250+ venues).
- or for example need the nearest petrol station, when you run out of petrol
- or a tourist location, such as the Pattaya View Point
etc
Note: The top 12 abraxis 2014 GoGo bars have been "featured", for easy access.

* ability to search for
- venue names or street
- search on keyword
n1: topless
n2: nude
s1: show
s2: shower/jacuzzi
s3: bells and whistles show
p1: swimming pool
b1: (mainly) blowjob

* see (or give) ratings/stars or comments of other people about a venue

* you want to be able to mark your own favorites (starred), using as your private "bucket list" or "been there list".

* you want to be able to use the app without internet connection.

* App name not obvisious. Goptty, can mean everything to non sin-city travellers

I thought i just saw the "Smurf Bar". Maybe you should reload the app ;-)
(reload means just remove the app from "cache memory" and re-start again)

Looks good, but a few things:
1. Description often contains special entities like &. They should be filtered.
2. The content area doesn't fill the full space, there is always a black bar at the bottom. (Maybe it's just a blocked ad, dunno)
3. Cache the fetched results and update them once a day/week at start. It's annoying to wait all the time at start.
4. Better Home, and maybe a overall better UI as it seems cluttered.

Thanks for your feedback!
1) Found only one description (for Alcatraz) containing "quotes", that caused the seen behavior. Fixed now
2) On my phone i have a "ad banner", no ugly black bar
3) No solution for that now. Takes about 10 seconds (related to the amount of venues). Ultimate solution for now, keep the app open and don't press home ;-)
4) Matter of personal taste. In my view the UI is great.

To all downloaders, please create an (anonymous) account and rate the venues you visited.

The reason for creating an account is to prevent accidental/deliberate rating of the same venue by one person. This would make the entire user rating system useless.

In fact you can use an "not existing" email address.

User rating helps all of us to know about the good venues (and the bad ones).
